BRWN SKIN LUXURY is created for the celebration of brown skin humans as well as the beauty held within us all. Representation matters and here you can find just that and more. I have had the divine privilege to be able to create this brand for my desire to share the growing confidence in seeing art portrayed as myself as one of the most fulfilling experiences and to share my take and taste on what we all consider ‘the finer things in life.” Soon to be expanded in avenues such as skincare, fashion lines, jewelry and accessories, I am proud to initially utilize this platform for teaching you exactly how I created and launched myself into a space where I can live a luxurious life. Allow me to do the honors to provide you with handmade, hand picked, self taught and well crafted skincare, accessories and lessons that you can always confide in.

Hello, my name is Kenya Brown and I am the founder of Brwn Skin Luxury as well as Pure Feeling. Thank you for coming to support my business where I aim to be the bridge that connects you to a confidence that reveals who you are. As a young woman who was 22 beginning to embark on her journey in entrepreneurship, and now days away from turning 24 years old - completing a two year journey of successes and lessons building these brands simultaneously from scratch - I find myself crossing what is about the twentieth finish line. As cliché as it sounds, I have truly put in blood, sweat and tears for this - even faced rejection and obstacles of all kinds, however the overwhelming power of a vison, prayer, self love and infinite trust in myself and inevitably in my future success has landed me in a place of pure - you thought I was about to say feeling didn’t you - yes that, and abundance. To think that back to my first sale being a watered down perfume that a supportive teacher purchased from me to my most recent being a cooler full of flavorful pineapple kabobs- one thing is for sure- I love what I do. Interesting enough I don’t think I was one of those people who had an option to not pursue my dreams- I have been fired from almost every job I’ve worked, was moved like the wind all around Texas and even made strides in Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma. I understand how I am a Godly creation because I act like it. My thoughts become things and my words become a physical embodiment of life. I don’t know if you would call this being called or chosen- maybe I agreed to both a long time ago and never even knew- either way, just as I sung in my high school theatre class loud and proud… I. Am. Here!

WHAT IS PURE FEELING?

Pure Feeling is a brand that celebrates the loudness, unapologetically in your face, colorful and beautiful side of art. In this realm- music, fashion, photography, videography, digital art, hand drawn art, the art of words and more is all encompassed under one umbrella of creativity. I wish I could tell you how this name came about, however I am not sure, one day it just became and I stuck with it, even had it and BRWN tattooed on my body. Pure Feeling is a space I solidified as safe, understanding, protective and spiritual. When you allow yourself to feel purely you can then correctly navigate life for you are now living in the highest energy source- authenticity. Purity for me is the transparency of truth. I show my practice of this in the “Social Media” tab where I house my podcasts, freestyle music, video creations and more. I want to encourage you to live authentically to who you are. Feel the world around you until its time to incubate and then do it again. Shine in the success of being alive, being here, being human, and having a soul worth celebrating and saving every chance you get.
