Rainbows & Butterflies || Print

from $24.00

medium: acrylic paint

I saw this in my mind and I had to bring it to life. Spring in the summer time is what it makes me feel. I am from Louisiana so at my core I am a southern girl, however I have roots in the rainbows. I grew up where drawing anime, and painting cartoonic depictions of people were very common. Through the sea of inspiration I found my own style. This piece is a paired painting to “Sun & Flower” - a painting of myself. I saw this vision in my mind of first this beautiful rainbow sweater and then the huge burnt orange hair. Only when I decided to put it to a canvas did all the art fall into place. The butterflies are my personal symbolic meaning of divine intervention and transformation.
